Friday evening on June 13, 2025, small misinformation packets preaching anti-Semitic, White supremist rhetoric were thrown from a vehicle/vehicles throughout the Village of Amherst. This cowardly deed happened around 8 pm. If you were able to record a license plate number from the vehicle, please contact the Portage County Sheriff’s Department using their non-emergency number at 715-346-1400. A big “Thank You” to those residents who immediately called law enforcement to report this incident.
The Village of Amherst is a peaceful community that is tolerant of divergent opinions and beliefs. Hate has no place here.
