ESTABLISH FEE FOR TEMPORARY CLASS B BEER LICENSE: This would be for a multi- date use such as the Orsund Foundation in Nelson Park. The charge for a temporary beer or wine license is $10.00, the charge for a Class B Beer is $100. M/S Rausch/Hodges to charge $50.00 for a multi-date temporary beer license and call this a “seasonal permit”. Ayes all. M/C.
POLICY FOR USE OF VILLAGE TRUCK: Change the first sentence to read: “The Village of Amherst has two trucks that may be available for use by the public when not otherwise in use by village staff.” M/S Hodges/Rausch approve the village truck use policy as amended. Ayes all. M/C.

UTILITY BILL PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT FOR 107 N. MAIN ST: Property owner had a pipe break in January 2025 where 31,000 gallons of water went through the meter but went into the ground, not through the system. The property owner called to see if she could make payment arrangements or ask for the one-time sewer credit forgiveness because her bill was over $500.00. Typically, she only uses about 200 gallons a month. After looking at past records, the one-time sewer credit was used on this property in October 1999. After looking at the tax records, the current property owner didn’t own the property in 1999, she was most likely a tenant because she purchased the building in 2002 so the sewer credit went to the property owner at that time. The sewer credit would be $311.80. M/S Wojtowicz/Strelitzer approve the one-time sewer credit of $311.80. Ayes all. M/C. The board asked that the property owner be told that she needs to take better precautions and insulate the pipes in the winter months. Because the board approved the credit, there will not be a payment plan.
