This past week our village was the sight of an unfortunate incident that seems to “happen somewhere else”. Unfortunately, it happened here in Amherst.
I wish to thank all law enforcement, EMT, fire department and Amherst Village staff for their tireless efforts in resolving this matter. I am very thankful that no citizens or officials were injured.
Most of all, I thank our residents for their patience while this event was resolved.
