Bob Rausch has been on the Village Board since 2004, but has been living in the Village of Amherst since 1994. Bob moved from Los Angeles to open and run the Amherst Inn Bed and Breakfast. Bob had worked at various companies as a computer programmer for over 35 years but is now retired and is able to spend more time on his hobbies such as reading and gardening. In addition to serving the community on the Board, Bob is also Vice President of the Amherst Opera House Company Guild, working to restore the 117 year old landmark.
